Inkylicious Daisy Fields

Lovin' the stamps from Inkylicious at the moment, seems to fit the season so well to me.

The flowers and butterflies are from a set called Daisy Fields and the lovely sentiment is from Wild Meadows, how true are those words at the moment ' A misty morning does not signify a cloudy day'. We've had a few autumnal misty mornings this week so had to smile when I read this.

Stamps - Inkylicious Daisy Fields and Wild Meadow
Distress Inks - Brushed Corduroy, Spiced Marmalade, Spun Sugar, Squeezed Lemonade, Weathered Wood with clear Wink of Stella on the sun.

Inkylicious - Wild Meadow

Well I'm obviously going through a moon phase - must have been influenced by the recent supermoon so look out there are a few more in my head waiting to come out !

Really wish I could photograph glitter better as it so doesn't sparkle in the photo like it does in real life and it's the contrast of sparkle against the dark inks that I like on this card.

There, that's a little better! Wink of Stella on the moon and Glamour Dust on the flower heads.

Stamps used - Wild Meadow by Inkylicious
Distress Inks - Stormy Sky, Chipped Sapphire, Mowed Lawn and Forest Moss for the background. The moon is coloured with Weathered Wood and Antique Linen.

Inkylicious Stamps

Oysters have got some new stamps in from Inkylicious - super ones with trees, wild flowers and grasses, perfect for making up scenes.

They also had this one with reindeers on which reminded me of one of our trips to the lovely Somerset moors. I made the background with autumnal colours because that is one of my favourite times to go down there, then I set it on a larger piece of cream card and stamped a couple of trees to break it up a bit.

Stamps used - Reindeers ; Bare Trees
Distress Inks - Mustard Seed, Wild Honey and Aged Mahogany.
Copic Pens - E31; E15 ; E17

Lots of other Inkylicious stamps in stock so I'm going to be playing with them for a while!

Just to update you, my colouring workshop is coming up soon, it's fully booked but there is a reserve list if you are interested. After that I'll be demoing at the Sincerely Yours Papercraft Show in Biggin Hill in November - hope to see some of you there. Thank you for looking.

Lavinia Stamps Challenge 9 - Add Some RIbbon

Congratulations to the winner of the Lavinia Stamps challenge 8 - lucky you to have £40 to spend on their website where Tracey has just issued some fab new designs! ooh decisions decisions .......enjoy and have fun. There were some gorgeous entries last month, so lovely to see all the different ideas people have using this versatile range of stamps.

This month the challenge is to Add Some Ribbon........

........here's one idea I had for the new challenge using buff card as a backing and then stamping the Dandelions and Sentiment onto die cut shapes before adding some gingham ribbon. Quite like the simplicity of it - lol will probably go on to make a really fussy and OTT one next knowing me !

On a similar theme here's another one I made using white EP and the Hop, Skip and Jump stamp .........

Hope you'll enjoy having a go this month, remember you can enter by email now via the Lavinia Stamps website or simply click HERE or via the Lavinia Challenge Blog. Good luck and I look forward to seeing your entries !

Thanks for looking and don't forget to check out the rest of the teams fabulous blogs for different ideas.
