Mo Manning Blog Hop - May 2016

Hi - It’s the third Thursday of the month and so a big welcome to Mo Manning’s monthly Blog Hop! Check out everyone’s blog and leave a comment on each of their blog hop posts to be in with a chance of winning a prize from Mo if your comment is picked – this is the order this month

So much inspiration from such an international team - Vili is the host this month and has picked ‘Vintage’ as the theme …….. with lots of weddings coming up I decided to make a card for a beautiful bride before the special day to wish her ‘the best day ever’.

I made this using ‘The Bride’ available from Mo’s Digital Shop  - HERE. I used some pretty papers, some chipboard embellishments, flowers, some die cut ivy leaves, oodles of Stardust Stickles and a stencil with Textured Crackle Paste to complete this 8x8 card.

Platinum Crackle Paste

I hope you will join in the blog hop starting at Vili’s Blog – HERE and don’t forget you can still enter this month’s DP2 Challenge ‘Anything Goes with a Mo Image’ – Good luck everyone and thank you for looking !

Mo Manning Challenge - May 2016

Hi thanks for coming over!
I always wanted a pink stove and of course there had to be a cat keeping warm nearby!

Perfect for some decoupage and glossy accents

I made this card using a Crealies die set for the card base and used Mo's 'Flippin' and 'Vintage Stove' images coloured up with my pens for the DP2 Challenge starting today. Why not pop over and take a look at my teamies beautiful cards for some more ideas and inspiration.

Sincerely Yours - Maidstone

Had a lovely time demonstrating last Sunday at the Maidstone show - always lovely to meet old friends and make new ones. I was working with  my Copics using mainly Penny Black and Serendipity Stamps.

The day flew by as it was so busy but as always great fun ! Here's a few of my card samples ......

Penny Black

Penny Black - Butterfly Dance

Penny Black - Elegance

Serendipity Stamps

Altenew Stamps

Managed to sneak in a bit of shopping before they opened - had to get Hobby Arts new stamp - Peony. This SO didn't turn out how I planned it in my head - I changed the colours as I do like yellow and lilac together.

Well Mr Blogger isn't playing nice at the moment - Chrome and Shockwave are having a fall out so I'm using a different browser to write this and it keeps giving me incompatible messages so I'd best be off (lol - it sounds like I know what I'm talking about here - seriously I don't I just read a lot!)
Hope to see you soon -
