Poppies one day .........Daisies the next!

I do love daisies (and poppies!) - they always remind me of summer which we may get to have here in the UK soon, who knows!

Gorgeous stamps from Polkadoodles of daisies with lots of little bits and pieces you can add or not - 14 stamps in total in the set. Love 'em.

Kept it clean and simple just stamped, coloured with my pens - and what you probably can't see is the glossy leaves and glittery dabs here and there to add some texture to the card.

Thanks for looking - anyone know where I can get a Cornflower stamp now lol ?

Workshop update

Hi, should have posted this earlier but fell asleep lol! Worn out but happy after yesterday's workshop with Martine and lots of lovely crafty ladies who came along to make cards designed by Martine and me. Last month we worked together on the two designs, this month we  focused on one each.

Here's mine -

This was designed using SB Astoria Dec Elements and labels and a variety of Penny Black floral stamps, everyone chose which one they wanted to do - but the poppy one won by a long way!

This one is Martine's -

Designed using Heartfelt flowers and dies with a few added extras, isn't it gorgeous!

Everyone seems to enjoy making 2 different cards and learning different techniques, so much so that next month's workshop is nearly full already! It'll be on 7th August in Rochester, you can contact Martine at the shop to book a place if you'd like to join us (01634686823). No idea what Martine is going to make but I know it'll have some fab techniques with flowers...........and I'm thinking a Christmas scene with inks - not too inky though!

Mo Manning's Blog Hop - June

Hello! Yes it's that time again when you can win some super prizes to spend at Mo's Digital Shop - there's 2 up for grabs and all you have to do is follow the blog hop and leave a comment on everyone's hop post - so why not have a go!

This month's theme is Babies and here's a little cutie I fell in love with a few years ago - called Baby Fairy Flora from Mo's Digital Shop - isn't she sweet!

Last time I used her I went for total fussy and fancy, this time I kept it clean and simple just using some lovely backing papers, a bit of lace and a sentiment - sometimes that's all you need!

So here's the blog hop list, why not make yourself a cuppa and sit back and enjoy getting some gorgeous inspiration from the team.

Penny Black - Stamp It Saturday

Hi, some of us on Mo Manning's DT are showcasing her images that have been made into rubber stamps by Penny Black, each Saturday. This one is called 'Dropping You a Line' 40-129 in rubber or 'Fishing' in digital format from Mo's shop.

Stamped with black Archival ink on glossy cardstock with a few of the trees from a Penny Black set called 'Prancers' 30-258 added to create a horizon. I then used Memento Ink Paris Dusk with different applicators and finally a brush and water to get the shading.

Quite pleased how it came out but you always think ooh I'll add a bit more here and a bit more there so I decided to walk away!

Hope you like it and thanks for looking.

Here we have Waiting For Rain, a little girl with her toy boat dreaming of getting one of the big ones to play with!

Coloured with  my Copics and lots of liquid gloss on her hat, coat and wellies. I used a new Penny Black die for the background and some embellishments from my cupboard.

You can see more inspiration on the other team member's blogs listed on the right - well worth a look and don't forget to have a go in the new Challenge - HERE. You need to be in it to win it and there is such a choice of gorgeous images in Mo's shop you could spend the prize on if you win!
