Mo Mannings - July Challenge

Hi  - crikey where does the time go and when is summer coming to our shores?

Anyway to brighten things up I made this little card using an image from a set Mo does called Sailor Boy which has loads of images and are so sweet! Gorgeous little boy playing with his toy boat , with a simple die added to balance it out.

Mo's DP2 Challenge starts today, pop over to the blog and check out my teamies inspiration for the simple theme of 'Anything Goes (with a Mo image)'. Why not enter to try and win a voucher so you can get a digi from Mo. Always lovely to see everyone's entries.

Well it's been a busy month again for me, some of it recovering from a rotten summer cold and sinuses .....groan. Not had one like that for a long time and hope I don't again!

Despite all of that June is always a 'family' month with my granddaughter , nephew and daughter all having birthdays in the month and sadly another anniversary of my dad's passing. Life is full of ups and downs, sad memories but hopefully more happy ones as well.

Busy in my head already planning my next workshop in August, and yes I will probably be using the C word, Christmas. Every year I mean to start making my cards in good time, I was talking to a friend on Sunday who has already made 40 - how many have I made ? Zero lol. Just waiting for some stamps I've ordered to arrive then I can get on - fingers crossed the plan comes together. Do you find that? You have a brilliant picture in your head of what you want to do and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't! So yes fingers crossed.

Well I'd better go now, so many things I need to catch up on - housework being the main one, yes I often work to the 'Dust if you Must' mantra but sometimes it really catches up with you !

See you soon x
